COVARTIM is an engineering company fully focused on the development and the certification of medical technologies (medical devices, IVDs and medical software). The company is based in Belgium (Brussels, Liège) and France (La Rochelle). Our clients are located worldwide.
COVARTIM was founded in 2016 in Brussels by Kyun Thibaut. After graduating in Mechanical Engineering and working in several medical device manufacturers for more than a decade (minimally invasive cardiac surgery, ENT, orthopaedics, interventional cardiology) Kyun launched COVARTIM. His goal was to help entrepreneurs and SMEs develop their medical solutions and put them on the market by providing a full-service offering ranging from R&D to very specific RA-related issues.
In 2024, COVARTIM expanded abroad with the opening of COVARTIM France in La Rochelle.
At COVARTIM we are driven by our passion for medical technologies. Everyone has a background in the medical device field.
We continue to learn about our sector every day and we regularly pass our knowledge on to university students, accelerator cohorts and other workshops so that the next generation of innovators may benefit from our experience.
We participate in many events in order to remain as close as possible to the industry and its stakeholders. We like this approach so much we developed Belgium’s premier medtech networking event : the MedTech Meetup.
At COVARTIM we commit ourselves to help the MedTech industry foster medical innovation and improve health care.
